國民黨主席朱立倫今天(17日)接受廣播媒體專訪時表示，如果他當選，將延續國民黨的兩岸政策，推動「朱習會」，與中國大陸領導人習近平會面。朱立倫並表示，他聽說印尼也樂意安排兩岸領導人會面，他認為日後兩岸領導人會面不管在哪個地點都可以考慮。
朱立倫也指出，民眾重視台灣的國際空間，大陸若在國際非政府組織抵制台灣，台灣人的心情非常不好受，他期盼兩岸能在國際非政府組織合作雙贏，對岸能支持台灣加入。

朱立倫說，他若當選總統，將安排推動「朱習會」，「朱習會」除了延續「馬習會」，也希望兩岸能夠進一步合作雙贏，在國際空間、產業、教育等各領域合作都有所進展。朱立倫說：『(原音)我覺得在政策延續，就是兩岸和平的政策延續，尤其是國民黨所堅持的，這樣的政策之下，我覺得「朱習會」就是水到渠成，也就是在「馬習會」之後，明年如果我可以當選，必然應該可以推動「朱習會」。』
